Gecko Gallery features a range of exquisite and affordable glass created by Indigenous artists. Using the slumped glass method, each piece is individually painted then fired, drawing on the artist's stories of country, and contemporary experiences. Glass is a highly creative medium that provides rewarding challenges to artists who find it is sympathetic to the visual expression for indigenous artists of their cultural motifs and offers an alternative to painting on canvas.
