Sadly in 2008, Daisy passed away and as a highly respected elder and artist with Waringarri Aboriginal Arts we have respectfully removed her works from our site until further notice.

Daisy was born at Legune Station where she grew up. She followed the old people in this country and learnt from them. They walked everywhere when she was young from station to station to visit family and friends. Daisy worked as a cook at Legune Station and when her father passed away she went to live at Port Keats. Daisy had two sons and one daughter at Port Keats where she also worked in the meat works. Daisy started painting her country from Bullo River and across to Jamunjung in the Norther Territory in 1993 and had her first feature exhibition at Gecko Gallery in 2005.
