Woolawoordengga

This painting shows an area of my father's traditional country at Woolawoordengga near Auvergne Station in the Northern Territory.  The river running across the painting runs from Auvergne Junction towards the coast.  The waterhole indicated in the hill country is called Moongen. The freshwater spring in the lower left is Moonbeng.  The billabong in the upper section is Bullarungin.  All this area is spring country.  There are lots of billabongs too and lots of freshwater turtles.
