Kungkarangkalpa

Long ago 'Kungkarangkalpa' (Seven Sisters) were travelling around everywhere away from home but went too far and they made a camp. A man 'Wati Nyirru' was following them all the time and watching them everywhere they went. He turned himself into a fruit tree to tempt the eldest sister, but she didn't pick the fruit because she didn't want to go with him. He also tried to trick them by making them sick and using magic to turn into waterholes to try and catch them. The sisters knew the man was using tricks and so did not fall for them. To escape from him, the sisters turned into stars in the night sky (the Pleiades)but the man also lept into the sky as another star (Orion) and to this day still chases them across the sky.
