Lukarri (Water Lily)
Yangkana is a leader in the small community of Kadjina and in this linocut she has shown the Lukarri (water lily) that is found in the rivers and Pirra (billabongs) around her community. Yangkana says: We call them Lukarri (water lily) and we can eat the soft roots when we get them or cook them up.
