Signature Series 1

This new series by Summer Sanders that has achieved recognition when purchased into the National Gallery of Australia Collection. Summer has subtly transformed the traditional coolamon shape with a contemporary approach both in form and colour, creating her finely balanced range that presents a deceptive simplicity. Heavier weight glass has been used and in some instances the surface form has been manipulated to include undulations, repeating that of the landforms she draws her imagery from.
